Welcome to the South Butler County School District
notification portal.
The South Butler County School District Portal is designed with you in mind. The portal is a one-stop location to control your personal communication preferences from the district to you. If you have been receiving Emergency Alert messages to your satisfaction, you do not need to register here. However, if you would prefer to receive messages in a different way, by signing up for the SBConnect portal you can customize your contact information and delivery methods to suit your preferences. This system will not replace the information the District has on record for your student. This portal will only influence the phone messaging system.
Password tips:
• Portal passwords must be at least 8 characters, including at least 1 uppercase, 1 lower case letter or numbers (no symbols).
• Passwords cannot be the same as the user name.
• Do not include dashes when adding phone numbers to your Blackboard Connect profile.
Registration process:
During the registration process you will be asked for the ID of the students you are attempting to connect with, as well as a contact point (phone or email) that is on file with the school to verify your relationship with the student. Your contact info is secure and will NOT be shared with ANYONE ELSE. This service is ONLY used to contact you for emergencies or topics you've chosen.
District Emergency calls:
Emergency calls from the district like weather-related delays or cancellations will be made via every possible method to every number listed. If you don’t want a call to a particular number in the early morning, do not list that number.
